Pro‑Level Biomech & Metabolic Analysis A 60‑minute deep dive pairs HD video and foot‑mounted motion sensors with treadmill VO₂ testing and SmO₂ monitoring (level of oxygen at muscle level). We map running economy, running effectiveness, and left‑right oxygen‑utilisation balance, revealing where watts and oxygen are leaking. The result is a data‑driven plan that locks in biomechanical symmetry, fuels pace sustainably, and makes you a faster and more importantly a healthier runner. Most athletes feel lighter on their feet within a few sessions; meaningful efficiency gains and injury‑risk reductions appear over 8–12 weeks of consistent drill work—time savings on the clock come as a by‑product of staying healthy and moving well. Coach notes: Running Economy (RE): Think of your body like a car. Running economy is basically your “miles per gallon.” If two cars drive the same speed but one burns less fuel, that car is more economical. For runners, the “fuel” is oxygen and calories. A person with good running economy uses less energy to hold a given pace, so they tire later and can either run farther or go faster with the same effort. Running Effectiveness (REff): Now imagine how well that car’s engine turns fuel into forward motion. If part of the engine’s power is wasted spinning the wheels in mud or making the car bounce, the trip takes longer. Running effectiveness measures how much of your leg power actually pushes you forward instead of bouncing you up and down or side‑to‑side. Higher effectiveness means every watt you produce translates into speed instead of wasted motion. Better RE = burn less “fuel,” stay fresher, and have more left for the end of a race.
