The Big Three are where dreams come to die.
To complete any of these is a statement of a life lived to the utmost.

These are no small feats and have high requirements.
You will need to be healthy, strong, fast and braver than most.

STEP IN A VERY DARK PLACE

Why it is Hard
BIKE
You will need nerves of steel and a good to power to weight ratio to complete something that will last anywhere between 10 to 20hours of non stop riding.

A word of caution, if like most recreational cyclist your FTP is below 2.5Wkg - it might take you over 20 hours to complete.
​
Train first before taking up the challenge.
RUN
Outstanding conditioning and amazing technique if you want to break 5. We know that if you can run a mile, you can run anything.
If we looked at percentiles this is how you would do in a marathon compared to other runners for example:

7: F top 12% M top 30%
6: F top 2%. M top 10%
5: F top 1% M top 1%

SWIM
Beyond the 3.8 and unto real long distance swimming, to finish a swim marathon takes patience, skills and fait capacity.
​
How long would it take? If you were one of the best in the world it would take you less than two hours, most people would finish in four to five hours.

Taking part in a challenge is free of cost.
